Whether you’re holding a workshop, a planning event or a strategic session, Base64 offers every required convenience, such as gigabit Internet access, full wireless network coverage and state-of-the-art audio visual technology, including videoconferencing equipment and a data projector, as part of the venue hire.
East Boardroom
The East Boardroom is ideal for corporate or executive planning activities. Privately located on the eastern wing of the facility, the East Boardroom offers a spacious room with a large board table that comfortably seats 12 people. As well as AV equipment, the room offers an electronic whiteboard and data projector.
Secret Garden
Annexed to the East Boardroom is an enclosed courtyard garden, which allows for access to the outside world for breaks during events.
Chapel Room
The Chapel is a large flexible space, comfortably seating 30 people, that is ideal for seminars. All AV equipment can be booked for use by events in the Chapel.
Mingling Spaces
Base64 features a large catering-friendly shared kitchen, a beautiful central courtyard with seating under a leafy tree, and a smaller courtyard with a herb garden, outdoor seating, and a BBQ. These facilities are can be part of appropriate events held on the site.
Car Parking
We have limited visitor parking, plus staff car parks that can also be made available outside of office hours for event parking. The outdoor parking area includes the provision of electrical power including high current outlets for external entertainment equipment and charging electric vehicles.
West Boardroom
Located in the Hackett Building, the West Boardroom is a spacious and well lit area. The large board table will comfortably seat 12 people. Its AV facilities include a short-throw data projector. The West Boardroom is not generally available, but can be used by special request.
All areas of Base64 offer quick and convenient access for persons with disabilities, including wide sloping wheelchair-friendly paths plus elevators for the two separate buildings.
Upon request, Base64 can recommend a preferred catering supplier, with VIP event experience, with the option of either platters of food delivered to your event or waiting staff serving a delicious cooked meal.
